The Sire is a great intense red HM PK. He is an F2 from my own line and the first fish which shows a shape going into the direction of HM PK. The anal and ventrals are still too long but the bodyshape, caudal, and dorsal already have a great shape. The Dame is a sibling of the male and also shows a full body with nice intense red coloration.
The offspring (F3) will be 100% red with a good chance of HM PKs popping up. Hopefully the anal finnage will be more in balance.

The Sire is also father of BT100208

02/05/08: The youngsters are now about 4 weeks and feeding well on a mix of artemia, tubifex and several dry foods. Some youngsters already start to show some red in the finnage.

21/05/08: The youngsters are now in a bigger grow-out and growing nicely.

25/05/08: Another picture of a part of the grow-out tank to show you how many youngsters there are!

21/06/08: There are about 80 fry left in this spawn. I jarred the first 7 males and divided the others over two larger grow-out tanks in order to promote an optimal outgrowth.

11/08/08: The fry is now 18,5 weeks old and has a very nice potential to work with! I have jarred several fish which hopefully will participate at the upcoming EHBBC show in Duisburg Germany coming October.

12/10/08: This spawn has developed into a great batch of fry. I have kept 3 males and 4 females of this spawn for potential breeding purposes. Here a picture of one of the females:
